Poster print: Gateway to the Port

1. Story

This image captures the Port authority building in Antwerp, Belgium. The building was designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid.

This image has some sentimental value. It's one of the first images I was really satisfied with. I went to this location several times before I made this image. Once I had found and tweaked my composition, I waited for the light. The waiting wasn't all that easy. The dotted line on the asphalt leads to an underground parking lot. Once and a while a car drove out of the garage. I was shooting with a tripod, so this ment I had to pack up, and set up again, each time. It was not ideal, but in the end I got the job done.
